Here’s me a little over weight on 1st of May starting from Berlin-Neukölln, making jokes ‘I’ll need all these kilograms, haha!’ … How damn right I was.
I was expecting the weather in May to be a bit more welcoming but this spring was a cold one and a rainy one. Glad I took my russian wool hat aka ushanka with me. This is just after the Polish border in some never ending rainy pine forrest.
In Wroclaw I had the honour to play a little concert in a very interesting venue in an old railroad shed that been turned into some sort of art space by an amazingly inventive british guy whom I met through another strange coincidence two years before in Berlin. My concert was simultaneously with a live drawing session, that’s why there’s a dressed musician on stage.
First signs of spring – a tree with leaves! Still bloody cold, this day was around 4 degrees I think.
Katowice supprised me with it’s raw beauty of shut down coal industry, reminding me of the Ruhrgebiet in western Germany. I heard that unfortunately a lot of houses in this area are not stable due to a century of tiny illegal coal mine businesses of which nobody kept track and now nobody knows where the ground will descend next. That reminded me of the Ruhrgebiet as well. So you better Visit Katowice before it will all crumble into a big coal whole.
First sunny day and also the last in Poland. It’s about 175km from Rzeszow to Lviv.

Spot on with this write-up, I actually suppose this website wants rather more consideration. I’ll most likely be once more to read much more, thanks for that info.
